God came among us.
Christians believe that Jesus is God the Son who became truly human. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, revealing God’s grace and truth. He came to seek and save the lost, and to serve and give His life as a ransom.

THE HEART OF OUR FAITH
We believe the good news begins with God’s love and leads us to new life in Jesus Christ.
Christians believe that Jesus is God the Son who became truly human. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, revealing God’s grace and truth. He came to seek and save the lost, and to serve and give His life as a ransom.
Jesus was crucified between two criminals at Calvary. Matthew records that the temple curtain was torn, the earth shook, and rocks split. We believe that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose on the third day, as proclaimed in Scripture.
Acts describes Jesus ascending into heaven. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit, and Acts records the Spirit’s coming at Pentecost. We believe those who hear the gospel and believe in Christ are sealed with the promised Holy Spirit—God’s presence with His people.
A PERSONAL RESPONSE
Scripture calls us to confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead. If you are exploring faith, bring your questions. We invite you to worship with us and speak with Reverend Mack.
Read Romans 10:9–10 ↗HONEST QUESTIONS. THOUGHTFUL ANSWERS.
We value careful reading of Scripture and honest discussion about what historical evidence can tell us.
In 1 Corinthians 15:6, Paul reports that the risen Jesus appeared to more than 500 people at once. This is biblical testimony preserved in Paul’s letter; it is not a collection of 500 independently preserved eyewitness statements.
Read Paul’s account ↗Finds such as the inscription naming Pontius Pilate help establish the historical setting of the New Testament. Such artifacts do not, by themselves, prove Jesus’ divinity or resurrection. Those are central claims of Christian faith.
Explore the historical evidence ↗Historical study draws on early Christian texts and references in ancient writers such as Tacitus and Josephus. Scholars widely recognize Jesus as a historical person. Establishing that a person lived is different from establishing every theological claim about that person.
Read the scholarly overview ↗Luke 23:33 describes Jesus crucified with a criminal on either side. Our artwork draws on that account and Matthew’s description of split rocks. It is an artistic interpretation, rather than an archaeological reconstruction.
